Trainings for the boardWork culture in the teamBoss's personal effectivenessConflict resolution

From production in Swarzędz to boards in Poznań

Tomasz didn't start his way in an air-conditioned office with a view of Malta. For 8 years he looked after deadlines and people on a production hall, where specifics and a real result at the end of the shift counted. It was there that it taught him that people are not Excel spreadsheets. If something grates in the team, no colorful charts will fix it. Since 2016, he has been translating this experience into work with company owners who have had enough of firefighting every morning.

At Poznań Progress Partners, Tomasz deals with organizing relationships where the boss loses his voice and the employees their willingness to act. In 2023 alone, he straightened out the situation in 14 companies from the logistics and commercial industries. Usually, 6 meetings are enough for the team to stop playing for themselves and start playing for one goal. We check facts, not promises – that is his main rule during every training.

Working method: straight talk for the board

Without beating around the bush – Tomasz tells the truth, even if it is uncomfortable for the owner. If the problem in the company is the way of management from the very top, that is precisely where we start the work. (A small note: not everyone is ready for such honesty, so we cooperate only with bosses who actually want a real change, and not just a certificate on the wall). We focus on regaining time, which bosses eternally lack.

Effects are visible in numbers, but the down-to-earth ones. On average, our clients regain 3.2 hours a week after just a change in the way of delegating tasks, which Tomasz implements in the first month. In one of the Poznań warehouses, it was possible to shorten Monday briefings from 90 to 24 minutes, without losing any significant information. These are real savings that translate into peace at home and better results in the company.

Tomasz believes that a good work culture is not fruit Thursdays, but clear rules and mutual respect. If you are looking for someone who will nod along with you, Tomasz is not the right address. However, if you want your team to finally start taking responsibility for its tasks, it is worth talking about specifics. The first step is always a short audit of what currently blocks the development of your people most.
