Without beating around the bush about communication

Bartosz hates fluff and empty slogans about motivation. He has been working at Poznań Progress Partners for 8 years, and previously for 11 years he managed sales in a medium-sized warehouse. During this time, he understood one thing: most brawls in the office result from the fact that the boss says 'A', and the employee hears 'Z'. Bartosz enters the company and straightens these wires. He doesn't draw three-meter charts, he only teaches how to explain an error in 4 minutes so that the person wants to fix it, and not throw in their papers.

People are not Excel spreadsheets – that is his favorite sentence. Last year, Bartosz conducted 43 workshops for local companies from Poznań and the surrounding area. One of his successes was organizing relationships in a 47-person production team in Luboń. After three months of working with managers, employee turnover fell there by 14%. These are specific money that stayed in the owner's pocket because he didn't have to look for and train new people.

We check facts, not promises. If Bartosz sees that the boss himself is the problem, he tells him to his face. Straight talk for the board: either we change the way we issue commands, or we stay in chaos. (By the way, he once heard from a client that he is too honest, but after two weeks the same client called with a thank you because finally for the first time in a year he slept through the whole night without checking emails at 3:00 in the morning).

Privately, Bartosz lives in Poznań's Jeżyce and is a big fan of squash. He claims that on the court, as in business, precision counts and that you shouldn't take your eyes off the ball. If you are looking for someone who will pat you on the head and say that 'everything will be fine', Bartosz is not that address. He is there to make your team finally start acting as one machine, without unnecessary friction and misunderstandings.

At Poznań Progress Partners, Bartosz is responsible for ensuring that the work culture is not just a sign on the wall. He introduced a feedback system in 32 companies in Greater Poland and in none of them did it end in taking offense. His method is simple: respect for the person plus specific requirements. Without the latter there are no results, and without the former there is no team.
